Wonderful to see more supportive housing. Does Castanet know what happened to the development on Heritage Drive, the one next to Kikanee Estates? It has been abandoned for more than a year, seems such a shame to have something half built sitting idle when housing is so desperately needed.

Here is good question I hope some one can answer. Why does Turning Points not supply upon request a yearly balance sheet on how they spend our money and how many people they actually get off drugs?

Good question Tabubil! Turning Points Vernon audited financial statements are available on the internet (Google search) "Impact Reports" are provided by Turning Points on services and participants (including number completing addiction recovery)

thank you for the response and I did check it out and it is not what I asked for. This is a fancy brochure that is meant to impress people. It has no balance sheet for each year that says who much they money they got from government and from donations. They do not give actual numbers of those applied, those helped and those that are still clean and working.
My point is that we give them all this money and they do supply now online and audit report, but it does not give actual number of people who received housing, addiction or other assistance. They have rolling numbers but nothing in black and white saying if the money (99% which comes from our taxes and 75% of goes to wages) has helped to get back on their own feet and stay there. It seems that they like to buy asset's with our money I wonder if they sell this and go out of existence who will get the money.
I think if they were told to publish in the paper these yearly audits there would be a big up roar about how our money is spent.
