What was last years increase, 9.5%? If they're now looking at not hiring five addition RCMP members then they had better slow down on home construction. More citizens means more crime.
And not bringing in these five new members, maybe they should hold off on the new RCMP station. Either that or bump it ahead of the PAC. We can't continue with tax increases like this every year and loading up our debt.

So let me get this straight, as a means to lower the upcoming tax hike, council in all their wisdom, thought it would be prudent to cut back on policing in what is the crime capital of Canada, brilliant idea.
