The NDP increased the number of government workers by a very large amount - now they get to negotiate what they will offer them - either way, the taxpayers end up paying for it. Hopefully a comparison is done with the private sector jobs (including benefits & pensions). Government employees should not automatically be getting more.

I am curious about the addition of more government workers that is being referred to. Nurses? Hospital support staff? We can't complain about terrible healthcare without paying the people that fix the problem. I'm in a private sector union and I do not know of any government union with a pension like mine, maybe they need to look into that so others can be as fortunate as I am.
