You just took someones belongings who probably need them and now they have nothing. Way to go. So stupid.

Someone probably staching food for a multi-day hike or kayak. Then some Sheila, filming a Tiktok of her first time touching grass, steals the food. City folk never stop amazing me. So dim.

Following recent news those are items commonly being stolen and resold. Unlikely it was someone's personal groceries.

I didn't read that she took anything but just reported it to the authorities.

To all you greenie haters accusing people of theft.......what part of the article that said "“We looked around [and there was] no one on the beach who we hadn't seen hiking down that day,” she recalls.

The two suitcases were soaked and perched up on a rock ledge

Do any of you morons want to suggest that people stored their food soaked in seawater or do you have any part of active brain that says maybe "some people must have planned a trip, their food got left in a high tide area without them realizing the hazard, and were then forced to abandon their trip. The suitcases of food would have naturally ended up "perched up on a rock ledge".
You enviro whackjobs really need to take a few chill pills cuz the world is getting very exhausted from your stupidity and Henny Penny behaviour. You really need to read the room here because you are not the consensus here.....you are the aberration. Just like no one thought Trump would win the election.

People should NEVER post anything on FaceBook, TikToc, YouTube, or any other social media platform about beautiful places like that. Now, every stupid person will try and go there, not realizing how difficult the terrain is. They will leave all their garbage down on the beach, finding it to much work to haul it back out. Just the shear numbers of visitors these kinds of video create will destroy this natural wonder. Ever been to Emerald lake? Place has been ruined by visitors throwing garbage, cigarette butts etc. all over. Sad really.
Social media is a cesspool of mis-information.
