They have access to genetical material? Using science and technology? This is good?

We've been "fruit breeding" for centuries. The corn the Aztecs had was the size of the mini cobs we eat in Chinese food. Look what corn has turned into today with just selective cross pollination. No microscopes or test tubes required. The label of "genetically modified" has gotten a bad rap through much misinformation. Heck, are we not modifying genetic material when an asian has a child with a Caucasian? We may not want to eat what comes out but it is certainly not dangerous or bad. It is just another beautiful child.common_sense_guy wrote: ↑Jan 26th, 2025, 11:38 am So they call it fruit breeding now? LOL why not call it what it is. Genetically modifying food
Edit to add- And I do realize that genetic modification such as the Arctic Crisp Apple is not the same process. It is just a different means to the same end.
