Great job Valhalla Helicopters.
Huge applause to your service, and I'm sure your 12 passengers were grateful for what you did.
Whenever there is an obstacle instead or a problem, there is for someone an opportunity and a solution.

Sounds like profiteering to me... you can get a longer sightseeing flight for a lower price. On their site you can get a 20 minute scenic tour for 575, but for almost 700, you can get a quick 5 minute zip over the lake if you're desperate enough.
Not as good a neighbor as you may think... but nice try.

You do realise the airport charges landing fees, right? You can't just fly a helicopter wherever you want for free. Not to mention coordinating with Navcan around commercial flights and the flight school.
Funny enough, your comment actually made me think the "sightseeing" is the profiteering part. 20 minutes?? That means 10 minutes out and 10 minutes back. What scenery are you going to see within 10 minutes of Kelowna? The middle of the lake? The pine forest in every other direction?

Bell 206 as in the pic. Tariff rate is about $1400 cdn dry per hour plus about $140 hour for fuel.
4 seats + one for driver.

The price folks are quoting is incorrect. It was $170 per person. Not exactly a cash cow for the company. They were lucky to break even....

Reading and comprehension doesn't seem to be a strong attribute on these boards and seems to be brushed off for the sake of just complaining about everything and anything.

Typical forum rhetoric. Someone starts a thread acknowledging a good thing and someone else immediately tries to tear it down.
