Why couldn’t they have come to this agreement beforehand instead of threatening tariffs? Oh wait..because Trump believes he is all powerful and loves to throw his weight around.

Exactly. Nothing will satisfy him. This is just a delay tactic before he demands something else.

TDS is rampant in Canada, fueled by our beloved (?) prime minister and Co.President Trump got everybody's attention though, didn't he.Unfortunately, the attention he wanted was to shed light on what's going on in Canada but instead TDS raised it's ugly head and diverted that attention.
We have a big problem in this country folks and it accelerated when Justin and co. took over.Nobody seemed to pay any attention when Justin voiced his admiration for China.THAT should have been a red flag but no it didn't for most people in this country,So now we have criminal activity running rough shod over our country.Drugs, money laundering,Cartels, terrorist organizations,China,India and more using Canada as their satellite home base. You think trump doesn't see this ? Put the blame squarely where it should be,our complicit and corrupt Government and it's many agencies.

I still see people trying to blame any of this on Canada. That is just plain nonsense.
The silly rants from the Trump worshiping far right in Canada are to be ignored as they are part of the problem. Canada isn't broken, the Trump worshipers are.
This is all down to the far right in the USA, the deranged Trump and his neofascist sidekick Musk. The US is in real trouble with Trump chaos and as usual Canada is not immune to fallout from US problems.
Canada and Canadians will stand strong in with the pride in all the good things that Canada is. Tough times ahead? Yes, but together we will prevail.

Canada needs its own Trump STYLE politics... STOP the Free TAX dollars to foreign countries and start a Government Audit. Shut down Immigration until the REAL NUMBERS are determined because we as Canadians know its a BIG LIE. Cancel the Carbon Tax crap and stop Climate Fear Mongering. Tariffs are a Negotiating tool and look at whats happening... Trump is getting things rectified and protecting his country... Canadians could only wish they had a leader instead of a bunch of Clowns running a Circus in Ottawa that is shut down by the Clown that runs it! Main stream media has done a good job at polluting the TRUTH.

These tariffs mean Americans have to pay more for our products. But their dollar is worth more. So they will likely still buy Canadian products. Trump is trying to make Americans buy more American products rather than from other countries. So what does Canada do? Slap tariffs on American products, making them more expensive for Canadians. We already have weak dollar. Since American products will cost more now, we will have to pay more tax on them to our government. Now the Canadian governments want us to buy more Canadian products instead to support our own people. Just like what Trump wants for the USA. To make Canada stronger and more independent. Plus Canada can now sell to other countries. Is this not a good thing?

50,000 dead Canadian drug users are piled beneath the noses of people who believe this is a "far right" issue, while the downtown core in every major Canadian city has become a drug zombie concentration camp full of rampant criminality.
Unfortunately, American intervention has been required in order to prevent 50,000 more from being added to the pile. Today, the Trump administration has just sent a deportation ship on it's longest journey in the mission to clean house thus far - back to India.

To take care of our borders and get rid of these toxic drugs our governments needed a fire lit under their a$$es. Canadians have wanted this for a long time yet absolutely nothing was done. Even now, they're moving pretty slowly. Canada--the capital of the world for importing toxic drugs and people. Along with money laundering.

I have no interest whatsoever (and will not respond further) to the right wing fanatics here.
I think that at the very least the American alcohol products should remain off the shelf and see what 30 days brings. There needs to be SOME repercussion for his dragging us through all his demented BS.
