Well, people keep paying it and influencing the price increases. Obviously there isn't much option except for relocating and starting a new job elsewhere. Which is exactly what I did!
The grass IS actually greener since moving out of that vehicle infested, over blown priced city. As beautiful as it used to be.

Wasn't there a recent story about how rent was falling?

GREEDY GREEDY LANDLORDS, they are no different than the GREEDY GREEDY Gas Companies.
STUPID STUPID Kelowna City Council. The should be insisting that developers build rental units that are affordable. In my early days that amounted to 25% of a persons income!!!! Council are just as bad as the Greedy Landlords and Gas Companies.

Down or up next month?
Either way $1600 for 1 bdrm is unaffordable unless dealing drugs

Hang in there soon there will be hundreds and hundreds of rental units available and landlords will be begging you to rent them to a point they will offer first month rent free to get you to rent from them. A Sunday drive around Kelowna will prove this point... and they got very little parking to boot.

Whah, what rent is up, rent is down. Not news worthy every week. How about annual reporting on rent.

So Commrade Ebys’ plan of stripping peoples rights of how their neighbourhoods are developed, how much they charge rent and how they utilize their property might not be having the desired effect as prices keep rising. They might come down when the hangover from Truedopes immigration fiasco wears off.

This castanet rent analysis is really just anecdotes. They're taking from their own classified ads, which is not a very statistical analysis. They should just rephrase it to say "rent in castanet classified down/up on average".

But Mr EBY said when he demolished VRBO's it would solve the rent crisis. Just another blunder by the NDP

Typical castanet lieing with selected facts only from their reviews of their own web site , look on fb and they are clearly down also the fact that fb hasway more ads for anything you look for , just like most polls especially the results for government , thay are always hedged in the favor of the publishers

Being a landlord isn’t a charity. It’s not a landlords job or responsibility to provide low income housing. The great thing about paying rent is, it’s voluntary. Guess your NDP ridiculous taxes didn’t really help much.
