The owner should have known their vehicle is not safe on public roads. They should face manslaughter charges.

How does a truck like this get licensed after modifications? Once modified should it not have to pass a safety inspection?

I seen a semi parked in an empty mall parking lot, the driver went in to Subway
Sandwiches while he was in there a woman pulled up in front of his semi driving the newer Volkswagen Beetle
The truck was a brand new Peterbilt long hood, the driver came out and jumped into his truck, started it up and drove over the Volkwagon beetle not realizing there was a car in front of him

There are lots of unsafe vehicles on our roads but our BC Government refuses to require a vehicle inspection be done before ICBC issues insurance.
These inspections could be done at any Designated Vehicle Inspection Service Centre.

Right. The raised nose and squat which greatly reduces visibility had no part in being a contributing factor.

As the old saying goes with modifying your vehicle, you have to pay to play. She played and now she's paying.

Send in the lawyers with the cops, the mayors, the children. The seniors who should park in their own area and are not completely aware of their surroundings. Blame the children.
