Believe me, life without cans IS possible. It's time to go back to basics, and it's healthier, too. Cans are lined with plastic.

Nice try but thats a hard fail. Sure Yukon Jack may be brewed in Quebec but that cash is going back to New Orleans. Sure Nabob may have a blurb about being from Vancouver blah blah blah but the can clearly say PRODUCT OF USA.
Companies like Dr.Oetker no problem seeing as that cash is going to Germany not to a bunch of thieves and criminals in the USA

There is still something wrong with this picture. The companies are still U.S. held companies selling product made in Canada.
Is that all right?

It isn't the companies in the US that are responsible for this . Your stance of not buying from any US company will not affect the company as much as it will hurt Canadian jobs and in turn the Canadian economy . There is a difference between pride and support for your country and the isolationism and protectionism Trump is spouting . As Canadians we are better than that and don't stoop to low levels like Trump.Tristan1980 wrote: ↑Feb 12th, 2025, 8:37 am Nice try but thats a hard fail. It kinda is the fault of companies and people in USA. They funded and elected Trump, and they now sit silent while he rides roughshod over them and the rest of the world.PMH1954 wrote: ↑Feb 12th, 2025, 3:28 pmIt isn't the companies in the US that are responsible for this . Each to their own but I dont believe in half measures and purchasing from an American company simply because it may have been prepared in Canada is a half measure.
