I thought the BC Conservatives were going to cut cut cut. Seems like the NDP is cutting. Easy to be lazy and blame Trump when their policies have dug the debt

Re: B.C. cancels $1,000 grocery rebate and pauses some hiring over Trump's tariff threats
Obviously a very common sense move with the uncertainty trump created. Only trained radical regressive righties would lose their minds over this and go all 'gotcha' on this election promise.
As usual, the NDP in BC are not unwilling to pivot when the data presents that it's necessary. Just like rolling back the decriminalization of drugs, they change as is necessary. Something radical righties can't understand and think that change means something bad and if you said one thing you can never change that.

If the BC Government would just Axe the Carbon Tax.
After all Canada has been Carbon neutral since 2020 according to Nasa.
So the Carbon Tax is just a lie to steal your hard earned money.
Check this link below at Nasa if you don't believe.

Such low hanging fruit.

Obviously you are part of the problem with this Liberal/NDP Socialist mindset stated in the above quote.
It is this divide and distract mindset by the lying Socialist NDP/ Liberals that have gotten the middle class in the mess we are in today.

Ahhh, Eby. Breathe a sigh of relief! It's because of Trump that I will not fill a campaign promise. Eby the farce.

BC can't afford it and Eby knew that all along. He just said it to sucker you in to vote for him. It was always a dumb policy promise. Anyone who voted for the NDP based on that promise got what they deserved. Hopefully they learned a lesson

It wasn't about the grocery rebate in voted for the NDP. The rag-tag group Rustad assembled was woefully unprepared and unqualified. He tried to ride the blue colour and name to get in, but they had wackos and conspiracy theorists for candidates. Among with that they candidates they parachuted in rather than taking the BC United were not well liked by those communities and split the vote further.toyota20 wrote: ↑Feb 13th, 2025, 6:17 pmBC can't afford it and Eby knew that all along. There was no valid other choice in BC this time around.

The divide and distract is a regressive far right radicalist mindset actually. They can't see beyond simplistic emotional viewpoints and lose their minds whenever they see anything as "woke". It's frankly disturbing that the good conservative ethos that used to exist has been mashed in with the devolved uneducated righties.

mentality that the BC NDP MLA's have, and the people that vote for them, that I take issue with.

Actually, divide the population, and distract from the issues that are actually negatively impacting their lives is a progressive, Socialist strategy adopted by some of the most despicable political figures in history. Namely, Adolf Hitler, which is outlined in the book he wrote, Mein Kampf.Tack wrote: ↑Feb 13th, 2025, 6:27 pmThe divide and distract is a regressive far right radicalist mindset actually.
