If people want garbage pickup they can call waste connections Canada although this is not a local company. Those who prefer local can pay the guy that comes around once a week you put your bag out and you put three loonies on it and they take your garbage away. If you don't have garbage you don't have to pay. But with waste connections whether you have garbage or not you have to pay the monthly fee. The way things are is just fine if it ain't broke don't fix it. People seem to miss Chinese food so they're bringing it in from Salmon Arm. Why not get an Asian fast food place in here instead of Burger King which is just another Burger joint we've already got several of those.

In a related story to the Sicamous area, why no comment thread on the terrible vehicle tragedy which took place Saturday afternoon near Crazy Creek? My deepest condolences to all involved.

curb side pickup got rolled out in the Okanagan 15 years ago?

the main complaint people had was getting the garbage and recycling carts down long, gravel icy driveways
sometimes the home is far from the curb
