Nice to hear, similar to what we were offered with our child but being older they had a cooling pad that fit on the bed. When you don't know the end is coming the transition to having them there and alive to knowing they are forever beyond our reach is too abrupt, fracturing even. It's not that anyone wants to remember them lifeless but accepting that they'll never answer to their name again is a process that starts slowly.
