First thought.....Hindenburg as noted in article. "Advanced technology"? Should be interesting.

Using the same thought process as mention of the "Hindenburg" in the article, one could well argue that the 37 lives lost is a heck of a lot less than has happened with airplane crashes in the last month, yet planes are still flying.
I would also expect that technology has advanced well beyond what was available at the time the Hindenburg was manufactured, and as such safety should be much better.

I suppose the airship business is having another go now the worldwide supply of helium has rebounded after two years of shortages.
How long before they start asking for government research money?As of early 2024, the helium shortage has ended, but the supply is still uncertain.
