Honestly, someone needs to explain to me how this makes any sense or is ethical? In the name of Animal Conservation? It's ridiculous. Is Alberta that hungry for money that they will sell out our wildlife. Appalling!

No one needs to explain anything to you. Do your own research.

This elite licence is a shameful way to highlight animal conservation, reminiscent of the excuse given for big game hunting in 3rd world countries.

No big deal ... Get mad at poachers who kill out of season and beyond limits . I don't see a problem with selling a licence to harvest just one animal out of the normal season to the highest bidder.

See! Everything is for sale in Canada. So , why so much push back against the 51st state . Enough money will alleviate any pain.

It's just eight licences sold to the highest bidder . Only EIGHT ... And if the money goes into conservation enforcement , habitat rehabilitation or anything that benefits heathy stock , it's ok with me .

As for "everything in Canada is for sale" .. Yes , YES it is . For the right price . Just like anywhere else .

Ridiculous! Sell to Canadians hunters only , take a hard look at what USA is doing to Canada and rest of the world, read this again in 12 months, I bet you will have a very different approach
