I guess overt racism from right~wing double~cousin progeny ( look it up we’ll wait) is perfectly acceptable in Penticton at the castanet. Might be trolls, might be one the rabid racists who just live in the okanagan. No shortage. No shame either.

Perhaps a look at the length of shoreline for that body of water can be used as for the correct name.
Perhaps a new pronoun as this is a bit of a confused issue, since that body of water, if I count it correct,
covers the shoreline for 7 nations.
Lets get advise from the group who are the masters of creating names in these confusing situation.
All that this group has to do, is convince the US, who has the longest shoreline with this body of water, to be a bit more fluid, recognizing all the different identifies of this body.

There is no confusion.
There is an international recognized body of countries that are in charge of naming common bodies of water.
As usual with this clown, he ignores all reasonable protocols.
Just because his bought and paid for/butt kissed *bleep* at bamboozle changed the name doesn't make it so with the rest of the world.

The US Gulf of America coast line, is 2737 Km
It all depends where for Mexico the Caribbean Sea starts.

How about Chinaman Peak in Banff ? it was changed too and so many other names in Canada during this regime of tag team Trudeau / singh . the only reason for the name changes was/is, to fit the narrative of their woke confused ideology.bernie428 wrote: ↑Feb 20th, 2025, 11:52 amCuba is in the mix.SAILINGONE wrote: ↑Feb 18th, 2025, 6:17 pm

Please tell me what wrong was sighted by trying to change the Gulf of Mexico to an imaginary new name?SAILINGONE wrote: ↑Feb 22nd, 2025, 6:09 pmHow about Chinaman Peak in Banff ? it was changed too and so many other names in Canada during this regime of tag team Trudeau / singh . the only reason for the name changes was/is, to fit the narrative of their woke confused ideology.

Gee whiz Beav, I don't know anyone would find Chinaman Peak offensive.
Which is not an international anything, so Canada would be within it's rights, and cartography norms, to change to whatever.

It will be a discussing between Mexico, the US and the few other nations, nothing to do with Canada.bernie428 wrote: ↑Feb 24th, 2025, 9:51 amPlease tell me what wrong was sighted by trying to change the Gulf of Mexico to an imaginary new name?SAILINGONE wrote: ↑Feb 22nd, 2025, 6:09 pm

However Trudeau, with our tax dollars, tells the bought fear& propaganda outlets to continually gaslight wedge issues, to divide & polarize Canadians to cause chaos.
