Maybe the plane was doing a charade of support shown to Justin Trudeau by his Fiberal buddies and went “ belly up”.

The plane flips over and catches fire and yet they all survive, and the majority walk away. I find it hard to believe. Those people are SO LUCKY and I am sure that they were glad they had seat belts! Just amazing!!

Wow, very lucky everyone survived that crash.
I remember someone saying ignorantly this "Not so much a plane 'crash', as it is an accident after landing.....", no no, that is definitely a plane crash.

Was D.E.I. a contributing factor?

Waiting for 2 things here:
1. All the experts with 10000+ flight hours under their belts to give us their expert opinions
2. Someone to say it's all Trump's fault

A disaster with a happy ending. Very fortunate for those on the plane. For the chippers who think they're clever......get a life.

Husbie is a recreational pilot with a few hours, but after watching a video he says it looks like the pilot didn't flare, slammed into the ground and landing gear collapsed as a result. Flaring is when the aircraft loses speed and energy with the nose up and parallel to the runway just before the touchdown. Time will tell.

Yeah, looks like he missed the flare and plopped it way to hard. May have caught a downdraft in the last seconds?Angie_W wrote: Feb 18th, 2025, 5:40 pm Husbie is a recreational pilot with a few hours, but after watching a video he says it looks like the pilot didn't flare, slammed into the ground and landing gear collapsed as a result. You're right in saying "Time will tell". The Transportation Safety Board will investigate, but it will take some time to see the conclusive final report.

Oh there is already people blaming Trump and DOGE for this. Rather funny actually. I mean the airliner was famous for pushing all female cabin and crew.....That being said.BigTun wrote: Feb 18th, 2025, 10:17 am Waiting for 2 things here:

Without any flight experience outside of MS Flight Simulator, Id say the plane looked like it was coming in a bit fast and dropping elevation a bit too quickly. Landing gear cant handle that type of drop landing and probably gave way which caused the plane to bounce and flip over.
