Exactly, what is this useless idiot going to accomplish? Compile a report over the next year with a bunch of useless information we already know.
Sure, get the harvest level back to 45 million cubic metres annually an develop a strategic plan to increase/support secondary manufacturing creating jobs for British Columbians.

When we had a Conservative government, softwood lumber tariffs were off the table.
After a decade of NDP Liberal Singh Trudeau Carney Horgan Eby, BC's forest industry is getting crushed by US softwood lumber tariffs.
You get what you vote for, people.

What the Actual heck are you talking about. the Softwood lumber dispute has been around for Decades. Yes there was a temporary fix under the Harper Government.Gone_Fishin wrote: ↑Mar 18th, 2025, 8:22 am When we had a Conservative government, softwood lumber tariffs were off the table.

Always blown away when I look at the comments section on castanet. If it is just computer bots supporting Libs/NDP thats one thing… but if this is actual real people defending these government ideologies in this day and age.. WOW. That just shows how incredibly ignorant people in society can become with a continued barrage of propaganda … aka controlled media.
Hey folks… Numbers and stats DO NOT LIE.
Look back … pre Trudeau… thats All you have to do.
Debt is now insurmountable .. if you don’t know what and where that is going that would explain WHY you think and vote like you do.
Canada is in for a World of hurt… it’s not going to be pretty. Printing money is never the answer… Economics One OH One.
Laughable that “ Orange Man Bad” is the new Canadian Mantra Vs the true reality of irresponsible and corrupt spending.

It sure would be nice to give what is left of our forests a break. Too bad there is nowhere left on earth interested in Canadian Lumber. Not one other country on earth. Oh wait!
