This would be wrong if approved considering the aggressive moves they made to shut down the air bnbs that were functioning for this purpose.

I think it's a great idea.
People who live near the College know what they've gotten themselves into. People who live next door to those running Air BnBs/Hotels out of their home do not have a choice. Buying your home in a residential area and then suddenly ending up with a house next door with a revolving door of noise, bachelor parties and inconsiderate idiots on holidays with no vested interest in the neighbourhood don't have a choice.
*Speaking from experience after multiple summers of 24 hour parties, garbage, fires and nonsense in the houses running AirBnBs next door to mine.

Nah.
If colleges want to run hotels they should go into hotel business. Not undercut them due to special treatment. If I can't have an Airbnb, they should not be allowed either.

And they should lose their property tax exemption. They are now a business and should pay city taxes.
