Thankfully someone is actually looking into this. I hope they do find some of the potential causes. The amount of poisons in everything whether that is ultra processed food, cleaning products, polymers like pfas, non stick coatings, water proofing, fire proofing is preposterous.

It's a bit sad to see the numbers going up again. I hope it leads to more help and understanding for the kids and their families.

The two leading causes that we know of are likely going.to contribute to an ongoing rise. The leading cause is.older males fathering children. While a young man can father an autistic child it.is less likely. The second cause is genetic and modern society bis, unintentionally contributing to the rise. It's well documented that, for reasons that are still to be fully understood, engineers are about 8ntimes more likely to have an autistic child. If both parents are engineers then aboutb20 times as likely. MIT and silicon valley have disproportionately higher than average birth rates of autistic children. Forget the idea that vaccines cause it. Autism has always been around, society has just shifted to make it more likely.

Old and spoiled sperm. There’s plenty of evidence to show that male sperm degrades with age. Higher instances of autism, schizophrenia and adhd linked to it. It’s not likely the only cause, but to ignore it and blame anything but is a huge mistake.

The older men get, the more mutations in their sperm occur.
