Did this guy promise he would end the Russia/Ukraine war on "Day 1" of his arrival in the oval office? Now this guy says "oh I said it in jest" and blames the media for taking it as fact. Ukraine currently operates a CONSCRIPT ARMY. They have to force people to fight. The Government kidnaps people off the street and forces them into basic training and then to the front lines.

If you feel so strongly about Ukraine they need volunteers.

Get on a plane and sign up. Show Putin you mean business.

I’m guessing the Russian lovers and defenders would be cool with Russia taking back Alaska — after all Tsar Alexander II made a “mistake” when he sold it. It should be Russian. Always was.
Maybe France made a “mistake” selling Louisiana. Many First Nations certainly made big mistakes signing treaties with the governments of the day — particularly when the treaty terms were never honoured. Are those eligible for do-overs, too? Seems fair.

Based on its history it looks like it should be made its own country. Doesn't seem like it's gotten a fair shake since 1783.

British French the Turks they all tried to steal Crimea from Russia in the 1850's and failed, BTW there was no such thing as Ukraine back then. Ukraine means 'borderland' in Russian meaning these are people that never had claim on Russian territory they just lived on the borders of Russia.

Why start with the Russian Empire if you want do-overs? The Ottoman Empire controlled Crimea. If you’re disregarding all more recent treaties — signed, even initiated, by Russia — establishing international boundaries, why not give it to Turkey? You’re just trying to justify an armed invasion of a sovereign country because you want Russia to have the territory. Just say that. Don’t try to justify it with a blatantly partisan historical analysis.

While we're at it, if we're fixing world boundaries by decree, why doesn't Trump give Texas and California back to Mexico? He claims he's being invaded by Mexico so....?
