I used to shop downtown for most things other than groceries. Now I refuse to go downtown and have to pay for parking everywhere. It cost me an extra $2 just to park for the market last weekend. As long as the City insists on charging for parking, I won't support the downtown core anymore! I've encountered dozens of people that feel the same way. It is the City's fault if the downtown core dies
