The concerns listed by the "Restore Peach Orchard Park" group is frankly a bunch of entitled NIMBY garbage. As quoted in the article, this space has been used, for many years, as primarily a goose washroom. The uses they list as not being possible because of the dog park, weren't ever being done before, and are typically louder events than just dogs playing. The noise complaint is frankly petty and ridiculous.

Most of the Council voted for the dog park to stay. The dog people will have a place now for their dogs in Peach Orchard Park.
