Tim Horton's Roll Up The Rim...
Why can't Timmie's hand out small "roll up the rim" scratch and win cards when I bring my own mug in for a to go coffee or when you have your coffee in a china mug at the restaurant??? It seems like such a waste of paper cups....

the funny thing is i never thought that people won that stff but a year ago my wife won all the campeing stuff there was a big tent and 2 big coolers i think 2 lawn chairs too but it was a lot of moneys worth of stuff cuse it was all colmens stuff so keep trying cuse you just never know

they do that so you buy the coffee, duh? and it would be more paper to produce little cards.

I think that the point of the thread is producing less paper, than handing out a full cup for people that drink "in store" or people that have "go cups."
Personally, I think it's a great idea.

Well, for in store, I wouldn't drink out of their china cups anyways, because that is not a safe thing to do! As for nasty, well...no comment

Great! To each their own.

But...as I said, the point was using LESS paper for people that don't drink out of the paper cups.

sorry, long night, too early in the morning.
Well, how about just putting it on the cash register receipt and when you randomly win, "ca-ching".
Bell's go off, the works. You get your coffee for free, or can use the receipt the next time.
Just a thought.

that's not a bad idea either! it could be like the coupons (i never remember to look at) on the backs of some receipts!
