Ah, I got to hand it to you castanet. After moving out of town (for school) and attempting to find a new "local" forum I have come to the end of my quest and what I found was castanet. It is surprising (to me) to find no forums of this caliber in my new city, triple the size apparently does not mean triple the quality or triple the forums, what you have here is unique or, at least, uncommon and the robustness of the discussion may very well be the gem of "online BC".

Okay that was a little over the top but I'm serious, castanet should open up shop for other BC locales there could be alota buck to be made.

Is bitter still around? I'll have to PM him, someone has to abuse the locals...

This is true, I've never found a regional/local discussion board like Castanet, even in places like Victoria or Vancouver (which is a bit surprising, really). Same with the news side of Castanet. When we came to Victoria, I wanted to find a local version of Castanet for news, but found nothing.

Hmm, I don't know, I think in order to qualify for 'nut' status in board naming, I think I'd have to import all the Castanutters onto the new board.

Perhaps we could simply dose with anti-forumgulative medication to reduce risk of infection?

We can help for sure. I will start out by posting how superior our gardens in the Okanagan are and BriTer will of course do a follow up. :1419: :1419:

I read the greatest definition of a Victoria resident, it went something vaguely along the lines of, "A Victorian is someone who makes crank calls, they call people they know back east in February, tell them about the tulips that are in bloom, laugh hysterically then hang up." There's a lotta truth in that!

My Mom would greatly appreciate it if you would stop phoning her. At the very least, stop calling collect.
