Posthill or Postill?

Something caught my eye, and I had to put this out there. As far as I have always known, Postill lake was known as just that... Postill lake. Then I saw a Castanet report that included this pic. Now, correct me if I;m wrong, but I see Post ill... not Postill. In fact, it looks like a white piece of vinyl was placed over what could have been an "H"? Did it used to be called PostHill, or did our beloved government make a typo in the sign when they put it there?

maybe castanet used a picture off the net that said posthill and cropped out the H to suit there news story?

The person making the sign probably spelled it wrong and rather than fix it they just covered the "h".
Kind of like when the connector opened and the sign said Kelwona! lol

Or maybe some "kids" thought it would be wayyy too funny to have it look like "Post Ill Lake". Everybody so quick to jump on the gov't these days. They aren't my fav peeps by a long shot (any of you who know the fun Sax and I are/have been having with them will know that), but seriously. My first thought was kids. They change the roadside magnetic signs all the time to make "funnies" why not this one??

Can we not clip quotes on this forum like we used to? I miss that. Anyways yes, the arrow does look like it was changed around, doesnt it! Snowbaby... your thoughts that this was kids??? cmon, get real! Unless "kids" are now in the habit of taking a sign that says "Postill", peeling the "ill" off, making duplicate "ill" letters to replace em (they are wrecked once removed, believe me, I've peeled enough old vinyl signs off" then sticking the replacement vinyl letters back on the sign with a space, then perhaps or not, adding white vinyl between them.... ya.... I dont think so!!!!

Actually Cool...what I said was kids probably covering up the "h" to make it look like "POST ILL" seeing as all the letter are capital and there's only the space between..hmmmm...but glad that that made you laugh. I guess you've never seen kids playing with signs then eh?
