Actually...THIS particular G2G is for a very important cause, and it happens to take place in a Pub, because that is where Mechanic_Virus has offered to be the Ambassador.

I will be acting as the ambassador for Freddy's Brew Pub in Rutland (at McCurdy Bowl), meaning it is my job to get as many people as I can to dine there on Thursday, March 27th. Freddy's will be donating 25% of proceeds from both food AND drinks to support the cause. I figure this would be a great opportunity for the Castanetters to get together, have some fun and food, all while supporting a great cause! Plus, they have the BEST mushroom burgers I have EVER tasted.

If you'd like more information on Dining Out For Life, click on the link.

Is this something you guys would be interested in?

Freddy's Brew Pub at McCurdy Bowl
All welcome, but please let me know.

There have been other G2Gs at places that are not pubs/bars. :124:

I don't hang out at "bars" either, but there are several nice pubs where my wife and I sometimes go for a nice burger. You don't even have to order a drink. Although I may be late, after 8, I'm still going to try to make tonight. :skippingsheep:

They are too tiny anyway and it takes too many to make a meal. :dyinglaughing:

:backtotopic:

I think "who we are" is on a need to know basis only. If people want to post more about themselves or add to their profile they can. Some don't mind personalizing themselves on boards, others prefer to remain anon, and still others like to be mysterious.

If I wanted everyone to know more about me I'd post my real name, address and phone number.
