Whatever happened to?

whatever happened to west coast amusements, (the fair/carnival) coming to kelowna, or westbank?
i remember they used to come almost yearly in the 90's and they havent been here forever!
i used to look forward to going there with my kids, except for the overpriced tickets it was kinda fun.
anyone know why they dont come here?

Maybe like a lot of other things in Kelowna:

- The price to rent enough space to set up has doubled
- They can't get a business license from city hall because they are deemed unsavory and attract the wrong crowds

They were here a couple of years ago it's just that they don't appear to have a regular location like the one on Springfield that they used to use quite often.

I think the trick is to know where they are going to be.

They still come I see it every year in the Zellers Parking lot on the Westside.

I see they're pulling in to town today. Looks like they're setting up on springfield in the vacant field beside Durnin rd.
