Farmers and Crafters Market

Post by Yellow Sprinkles »

So do any of you go? Do a lot of you go?

Do you mostly go for the fresh produce, or do you go for the crafty stuff, or both?

Do you go with a tight spending limit, or are you looking to splurge on something that really catches you?

I'm considering setting up a table sometime this summer, but I dunno...

Quilts... maybe some other stuff. Probably just quilts.

Quilts are gorgeous! My friend made me one for my birthday a few years back, and I love it!

My daughter and I go every Sat morn., during the season, as a mother/daughter thing. I go to check out everything from the produce to the hand crafted items. There have been times I've gone and didn't have the $$ I needed for something, but I would go back on the Wed. or get a business card and make other arrangements. Good luck we have had a table at the market before, it's a lot of fun. It even has it's own politics, which can be very funny at times. Great way to meet loads of interesting people. Good Luck! I'm sure you would do well with your quilts.

I'm nervous, but I think I'm gonna go for it - in a month or so. Thanks for your input, and I hope there is more.

Hahah to tell you the truth, I was going to do some baking too. Turns out they got some rules with dairy products, icing and other toppings - lots of hoops I don't really want to jump through.

Yellow Sprinkles,
Just so you know, there is a booth or whatever you want to call it that does quilts already.
You might want to check it out on a Wednesday or Saturday...........I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to have some competition though.
We try and go every week.

I was there on Saturday, and I did notice that booth - though it was nice of you to give me the head's up. Hopefully the committee will approve mine also.
