The Best Place on Earth
Hi there,
Just wanted to say that my family and I spent 5 days in Kelowna looking for a home, which we succeeded in doing in Westbank, and I cannot say enough about how every person we met had such a wonderful attitude, beautiful smile and very kind. I also have to say...I have never seen such beautiful country side. I originally come from Moncton, NB, have been living in WinTERpeg for 33 years and decided to celebrate my 50th birthday with living in a warmer climate. I will be so proud to call Kelowna my new home and am looking forward to making new friends. Somehow in those 5 days we did meet a few people who I hope we can call our friends. Love to Char, Jeff, Scott and Greg. We truly feel blessed to have met you.

it sounds to me like you won't have any problems making friends here. when you get really brave you can meet a bunch more just by coming to one of our get togethers!

Welcome Donna! From a fellow Kelowna citizen living on the Westside I can tell you, you're going to love it! We've been here for 3 years and before we came we faced the decision to either head to Onanole, Manitoba (north of Brandon) to where we had great jobs lined up and property ready to buy, or to Kelowna where we had no jobs and no place to live. The rest is history because we came here by the seat of our pants and we definately made the right choice!! I know you have too. Good luck in your move and again, a sunny welcome from Kelowna!!

Welcome to Kelowna Donnaleelee! It is definitely a beautiful place to live, I've been here 9.5 years and will probably never leave! The winters are mild and the rest of the year is wonderful.
