First of all, I don't think that thought would be ignorant at all and I think you are being rather obtuse for saying that. If you believe there is intelligent life elsewhere in the universe then good on you, but it is nothing more than a belief as there is no evidence either way.

I don't think debating the topic with you is going to beneficial for anyone since you've already let it be known that anyone who disagrees with you is ignorant. That said, I stand by my original post that PP did NOT state what you said he said he did.

Thank you Writer Dave, I was just going to point that out. I would be very surprised if there isn't life elsewhere in the universe. I just don't think it's capable of popping around to good ol' planet earth (and a heck of a lot of leading scientists would concur).
