Spic 'n Span

Post by amomof2dogs »

Don't know if this is the best category to post this request but I am grabbing at straws so I figured that grab bag was a fitting location.

I am looking for spic 'n span cleaning powder. I used to use this years ago but I can't remember the last time I saw it in the stores. My husband wants it to clean the rubber roof of our RV. It is one of the products recommended by the manufacuter of our trailer.

Does anyone know where to buy Spic 'n Span? I have tried all the grocery stores, Canadian Tire, Walmart, Zellers, Home Depot, Rona, Home Hardware etc.

I'm gonna have my mom check in the US on her next road trip as it still seems to be available there.

This might help!

Did you try Wal Mart?

Thanks for the suggestions of MTF and Princess Auto.

I have looked at Wal Mart with no success.
My daughter found the website for me but they don't list any retailers for the classic powder in Canada. She also found that I can order it online through Amazon.com. I may have to do that if I can't get any soon.

I'll keep hunting.

I buy that stuff all the time at Home Hardware (mind you, this is Home Hardware on the Island, but I'll bet any Home Hardware will get it in for you). Great stuff, I love the smell.

Thanks Jo
I never thought of asking if they could get it in for me. I just assumed that if it's not on the shelf anywhere, it wasn't available. I'll check with HH.

HH, Aisle 9, RH side, about 5 feet down the aisle, about knee height.

Thanks Grammafreddy,

You have better eyes than I do. I missed it the first time I looked at HH. I'll go tomorrow and follow your excellent directions!

Thanks again Grama Freddy!
Exactly where you said it would be. I forgot to post earlier that I had found it. Used the Spic 'n Span on the RV this weekend. It worked great! I had forgotten how good of a cleaner this stuff really is. I wonder why it is so hard to find?
