Can't say I recollect that name, I can just barely remember it even existed - how sad is that?
Truths can be backed up by facts - do you have any?

I think so. Wasn't there a Rexall Drugs down there, also.
And of course the Capital News. You could see everyone through the windows doing their work.

Taylor's Drugs had a staircase to go up stairs just like Fumerton's.

Does anyone else remember a store called "Bucklands" on Bernard Ave, where Town Center Mall is now?

Don't forget the platform ankle boots. Damn we were a lot cooler in Grade 5 then...than now!

Mine were black and had a zipper up the instep.

You can't see it, but just in the front of the pic, a few feet from the side of the house, is a irrigation ditch/stream. I think it starts off of Mission Creek somewhere.
The farthest I walked up the creek (besides when I was married Ba..dum..bum) was where Orchard Plaza is now. It went by the building on Cooper (across from the Bay bus stops) that had the old movie theatre.
And it did drain into Mill Creek down by Lindahl.
I used to catch nice trout in there. 1-2 pounders, in my yard, in downtown Kelowna.
Now it is covered with pavement and buildings all the way.

Nowdays you can catch 10-20 pound racoons off Lawrence Ave. And there are deer up around Koby Court and the graveyard (we counted 5 there the other day) and I saw a squirrel at the end of Lawson's cul-de-sac.

I missed hitting a *bleep* 2 nights ago, between Patterson and Morrison, on Richter.
I thought it was a cat. If I knew it was a raccoon, I wouldn't have locked them up so quick!!!
