Remember the wild field in the back and the trail through it? Remember the horse tethered there? When we could find a pop bottle and spend money on strawberry candy? The wooden floors in there and the canopy that was good to get under from the rain?
I think the Horse was before my Time.
I do remember the Park with those springy animal things you ride and maybe a Teater Totter
Ooooooo Remember the Wooden Ship "Jungle Gym" @ Gyro with the Zip Line into the Lake!

What do you have for us? At 45 you should have seen lots and remembered details we haven't got down yet. What schools did you attend?

Got details on the former Zoo?
Remember when the city organized Easter Egg hunts at the base of Knox Mtn? Got old photos of Kelowna? Especially of the park? Know how to post them?

I love reading this! I often talk about the big slide that was near Winfield when I'm driving with my daughter.I had forgotten it was Adventure Land. There was a little mini gnome village in the trees there too

Haven't seen Nitro in 30 years but I did talk to his brother about 10 years ago.
Nitro changed into a breifcase toting suit wearing kind of geek, from what I'm told he had like a 150 or higher IQ.
