S.A.L.T.S
Such a great place to work & live this was (worked and lived on the Robertson II year-round 1985 - 87)

good times.

That bearded ginger speaking at 1:26 - was, and still is, one of the finest specimens of a human being i have ever met.

Dramatic footage reveals the moment Texas first responders saved a 15-year-old deaf dog that had fallen down a storm drain and been trapped there for two days.

In the video, accompanied with a heroic score, Arlington Fire Department, Police, paramedics, and others worked tirelessly for 10-hours straight to break through the street and into the storm drain to pull out Zoey.

The shaken dog, caked in mud, allows herself to be easily handled by the rescue workers as they all celebrated the successful rescue.

Friday was a bit slow for work, so I left pup with husband and went to return a library book. Decided to do some thrifting - spur of the moment. Found a nice vintage necklace at Salvation Army. Found a "Bissell Spotbot" at MCC - it had the sticker that said "has been tested and worked at testing" so I paid the $9. Heavy sucker to lug all the way home (3 more stops: Helping Hands, Rutland Hosptial Auxilary and Value Village - found something small at each). The spotbot looks like something from the 80's, and is not light. I used it today (Buddy peed in the living room), and it works like a darn! I looked it up online, they only started making them in 2005 and the current model is $230 CAD. :200:

So it not only works, it fills a rather specific need and it was a score! :yahoo:
I haven't failed until I quit.

One of many tributes to the fallen soldiers of Afghanistan.

Restaurants across the country pay tribute with a table set up with 13 chairs, 13 beers and a photo of each soldier.

^^^^^

Right on!
Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. There’s a certain point at which ignorance becomes malice, at which there is simply no way to become THAT ignorant except deliberately and maliciously.
