Watching Turner and Hootch is making me smile.

yesterday afternoon.. Mission Park parking lot
Mr I'm so important carts his groceries from Urban Fare, but returning the cart is beneath him, leaves it on the side, blocking another space.
As he starts to drive off, the cart has rolled back a bit and he hits it with the back of his expensive vehicle

My friend who had her vehicle totalled in an accident (someone ran a red and T-boned her) found a perfect replacement vehicle! Used of course, as theirs was not new. There was some stress because ICBC is being ICBC; foot-dragging numbers chiselers who think half-value is good enough. Fortunately, my friend's dad-in-law offered a loan at 0% until they get their settlement.
I haven't failed until I quit.

Yesterday, sitting under a smallish umbrella as a light rain came down while I'm watching my grandkids play flag football.
I'm posting this from Traditional lands of the British Empire & the current Lands of The Dominion of Canada.
I also give thanks for this ethos richness bestowed on us via British Colonialism.

really - I went from fuming to grinning! Entitlement can be summed up by not returning your darn grocery cart. Like some peasant going to do it for you

Grocery order delivered 10 minutes ago - driver even brought all 11 bags into the house for me when she saw me using a cane. Had a bad fall the other day - broke 2 toes and put my back out so my friend loaned me one of her canes to get around easier.

Today's smile - girlfriend told me to call her when groceries were delivered. I did and she was here within 10 minutes to put them away for me.
Dance as if no one's watching, sing as if no one's listening, and live everyday as if it were your last.

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.

Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. There’s a certain point at which ignorance becomes malice, at which there is simply no way to become THAT ignorant except deliberately and maliciously.
