This time was just adults. We crashed my friend's cabin. And left a present for them to find when they come back up. His name is Greg.

I see he also rescues your favourite animals. Have you ever made contact with him? Does he have a rehab of his own or send them out?Catsumi wrote: ↑Jul 16th, 2023, 6:49 pm Thank you so much to Peter and wife for doing such good work. Without you, our battered wildlife and their dwindling numbers would be in worse circumstances.

I haven’t met the Wise’s, unsure of their set up. I will investigate later on today.
We so often forget about our wildlife, that they get injured or orphaned through no fault of their own. The loss of wildlife due to forest fires is going to be devastating this year, and anything we can do to help them would be appreciated.

Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. There’s a certain point at which ignorance becomes malice, at which there is simply no way to become THAT ignorant except deliberately and maliciously.

Re: What Made You Smile Today?
Today I smiled because I can sit in my living room and not feel frustrated.
Yesterday my husband put together my Ikea cabinet (had been leaning against the wall in my living room since last fall). I was able to vacuum without having to dodge piles 'o stuff. I was able to clean off the coffee table (also storage ottoman) which I cleaned out and was able to sort and put away stuff into it. Then I was able to get the box of books that I've had for over a year sorted and put away. And then I reorganized my books and even weeded them! And with everything off the floor, I was able to take a good look at where everything was, and move a few end tables so they made more sense. And I moved all my husband's tools to the back hallway (still working on the garage project, they'll go out there permanently when it is done).
So, I actually like sitting in my living room now! Nothing is poking at me with "should/must/HAVE to do".
I do need to replace my loveseat, but I really haven't got the money for that right now. But when I do, I will be even happier.

We've had a beautiful and valuable picture wrapped up and stored since we moved over a year ago.
Why so long? I knew the fight would be on as to where to place it. Well recently we settled on which wall.
So today I dragged it out, "its going up, I'm not putting it back."
Her, " No, more to the centre of the wall."
"A bit to the right."
"No, I think it should be over closer to the window."
"Oh but now it doesn't line up with the couch."
"Do you think it should be centered on the wall?"
"Can you move it about four inches"?
"No, put it back, no over an inch."
This went on for 3,600 seconds.
And as I'm putting the picture up she says, "Maybe not, we'll have to take it down this fall when we paint.

The picture is up, and now you know why sometimes these jobs are delayed.

That’s funny! I’m an odd bird. Before remarrying, I’d been on my own for ten years, so I have a tendency to just get things done in short order because there is always so much to take care of. The result is now I feel like I’m either an absolute relief for my husband, or I’m not letting him do anything.

so many people place the artwork too high up on the wall, its a home not the Sistine Chapel :/
My dentist has a triptych in the waiting area - makes me crazy that one is a good 3/4 inch lower than the others.
Staff says they " never noticed it" lol. Gonna take a hammer and set it right next appt
