2 large yams

Mash up the yams and the cranberry sauce with some cinnamon and brown sugar (and nutmeg, if you didn't forget to buy it ). Put into the oven for a bit.
Make a crumble with rolled oats, butter and brown sugar. Spread it on top of the yams (after removing them from the oven), put it back in the oven until the kitchen smells really good.
Let cool.
Dump a bag of mini marshmallows on the dish, spread evenly. Put dish back in the oven until the marshmallows are lightly browned. Watch out - they burn pretty easily from here.
All done.

I just heard from my mom-in-law and here is how she makes her yams:

Cook and mash up the yams, put butter and some brown sugar with them then cover them with a mixture of brown sugar, flour, butter and some pecans. Sort of like an apple crisp.

They were super yummy, but I betcha your recipe is to die for! I'm looking forward to trying it out. (I didn't eat anything when I was at the Crash Bash). :144:
