Half of the winning tickets are from GVA.

hmmmmmmmmmmmm .......... so how'd these people get winning tickets if they are only sold in BC?

Lotto Max and 6/49 tickets are sold across Canada and only one nationwide draw is made. Draw is held in Toronto at approximately 9:30 p.m. each Friday for Lotto Max and on Wednesday and Saturday for 6/49.

1) ticket was lost
2) ticket holder past away without any heirs
no one will really ever know, to those who could really use 1 millions this is sad.

I personally would like to see prizes kept to max of one million thereby increasing the numbers of peeps winning enough to retire.
It seems a bit obscene that one person could win multi millions. Insane. Might be better to have 20 individuals win a million each.

It's not getting the house either, it's furnishing, taxes and up keep. More like part of the million should go as a downpayment and the rest of the money would be used to do the rest.

The Skunk, If ever a winner (never buy tickets though) would still live modestly and certainly not in Kelowna.
10 acres, (Cherryville?), 1000 sq ft house, nice gardens, average car. The only nod to my newfound wealth would be a long faced chauffeur, outfitted appropriately in uniform with white gloves, silent as a clam, to do my bidding.
Don't want to incite resentment or avarice in the locals.
