Not even close. Cockroach heads are very close to the body while the weevil's head sticks out a lot more.
Truths can be backed up by facts - do you have any?

I've handled cockroaches and they are quite different from the OP's photo.

By all means post a photo that shows the same body and head that was shown with the weevil - a known pest.

GOOD GRIEF DON'T HURT IT!!!
Why does everyone have to kill things? Poor little dood is harmless. He has one chance in all of eternity to enjoy his life and it gets stolen from him to no fault of his own.
Put the little dood on a houseplant and nurture him till its nice outdoors then let him out so he can hang with Miss Weevil and they can have babies.
If you want to take out aggression go to the bickering room.
Think of the weevil children!
There's waaay too much death, pain and suffering in the world.

RV, there's a whole area called the Bickering Room, it's part of the forum sure, but it's freer in speech.
As WW3 develops, no one is going to be dissing the "preppers." What have you done?

Seriously ?
Of all the topics you could troll - you choose to argue over this ?
They're really fairly harmless MAP, but not really something you need in the house....for no other reason than, who wants bugs in their house.
You don't need to squish them...if you want to 'set them free', they probably won't survive until spring anyhow so not much risk to your outdoor plants.
