I am retired.
Normally I'm just not sure about the day until I think about it, then I may just be out by one day.
Spring through fall is not often an issue as I listen for my sprinkler to come on, then I know it's an odd numbered day.

And garbage day? Sure glad I don't live near the start of our area. Garbage has to be out by 7 am.
