Re: The Castanet Gab-O-Rama
I forgot to make/bring the cranberry sauce
Turns out they had a can in reserve, just in case. I think today I will make/can some for Christmas.
And today my family is having a ham.

I attended two thanksgiving dinners today. One at 1 and one at 6. I will cook a
next weekend when my dad visits.
I'm kinda full. Sour cherry pie from a local tree. Can't beat that....

Bottom left - apple?

Ooh, those look lovely!
I made apple pie for ours. I went off keto for the day because I couldn't miss out on stuffing, potatoes, pie!

Hmmmm, I gotta say ‘yes’.
Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. There’s a certain point at which ignorance becomes malice, at which there is simply no way to become THAT ignorant except deliberately and maliciously.

It is officially tea/cocoa in the afternoon weather. Preferably with a soft fuzzy blanket wrapped around the shoulders, in a comfy chair with a good book and sufficient light for reading. And with a pet to snuggle.

Re: The Castanet Gab-O-Rama
Here's a question for all of you that take in sports events that sell 50/50 tickets.
I took in a helluva hockey game last night.
First off, we were surrounded by Japanese students. It could have been their first ever hockey game, plenty of ohhs, ahhs, cheers whenever the guys were bodychecking, plus they went crazy when a fight started. I guess it beats the hell out of sumo wrestling.
Anyways, I was with a buddy and got to thinking about the 50/50 prize. It ended up being close to 8 grand.
What should I do if I have the winning ticket and he didnt buy a tcket? Split it with him? Buy him a beer? I can't keep quiet as they announce the winner.
And what if we each buy a ticket? Same thing? Split it?
Just wondering about 50/50 edicate between friends.
