The Useless Trucking Company, UTC, and the Big American Box Store, BABS, still can't get their act together.
UTC showed up yesterday without announcing they were coming, and of course no one was home.
So the BABS says they will send someone out with the appliances last night. Another no show.

Maybe today.

I feel your pain. Took one store 6 months to get it together and get it right. They know it’s damaged when it leaves the store but still had it delivered.

I went through that with a brand new delivered dryer. Scratches on the side. I told them, "If I wanted to buy second hand looking stuff, I would have bought second hand stuff, take it BACK and re-place it." They did but I won't step foot in there now.

Did that a bit different. Made notes of the cosmetic damages on the dryer of a washer dryer set,
then negotiated that against the price of another appliance.

Ended up with a drastic discount on the dryer, and a new fridge for less than half the cost, delivery fees waived.

It's all in the negotiation, don't be timid, nor an *bleep*. It works.

The washer and dryer sit in a dark corner of the basement anyways, Didn't care
about the scratch and ding for the money it saved in the long run.

That's 20 ish years ago now. All still working.

Oven door window was broken.
No idea when the BABS gets them a range now. Useless twits.

Perhaps "lending' a lesser model until the proper one arrives is an option... They have a family to feed! How upsetting, and Christmas coming..how are they supposed to bake cookies!

They could use the stove top and get an air fryer oven. Might get them by until a new one arrives.
