[icon_lol2.gif] Yea, during my falling days I could see if that tree would mill out straight or bent boards.
same as in my custom cutting days. Cut some regardless and in a few days they had the shape of an English longbow.

As a side note, a couple of contractors I knew used to buy their lumber just across the line when the Canadian dollar was better. Canfor enblazened on the wrap and better quality than the 2x6's sold here.

I've been interested in a Ninja Woodfire cooker.

They are on sale at Best Buy as well as ninja directly.

We went to Home Depot and with their price match as well as beat it by 10% as well we saved $165.

Can't wait till it arrives and we start smoking!

Curious question here:

Was real reason that Saddam Hussein and Muammar Gaddafi were taking out by US, is because they were about to cause US currency to drop on world stage. They were the first 2 countries wanting to go back to selling their oil by using Gold (previous method) instead of current standard of using US currency (which probably artificially keeps US currency high).

just a thought

US currency is kept artificially high simply because countries are forced to us it for selling Crude Oil worldwide.
Early 70s Henry Kissinger set it up that all Oils sales had to use US currency, very clever way to keep their currency high on the markets.
Up until this major Oil producing countries used Gold.

Possibly.

Do you have linkable material re US$ vs gold for oil sales and reasons for pinching off the bad guys?

With reading the link…I think i will pass

Good theory though

Both trading partners need each other so unlikely one will pull a gun out on the other

That okay, US is incredibly good at pulling the blinders over everyone’s eyes. They are Masters at it

Try not to overthink it though. Sometimes we hear hoofbeats, usually horses and not zebras

As brics becomes more prevalent US long standing artificially prop up currency may come down.

Added later: The US always has alternative motives with everything they do internationally. Vietnam it was huge Oil off shore.

I'll pass on this Gordon, too heavy for me.
I have serious decisions to make, like should I have a second macaroon. I'm already full but there's a second one calling me.

Gordon - don't think so - Petrodollars are used because the USD is the most widely used currency. Even SA resigned for petrobucks when their contract expired
Russia sells most of its oil to China and India. They have been pressuring India to buy using the Yuan

great, now the theme song to the Beverly Hillbillies is running in my head
