Gordian Knot wrote:Morning everyone! Just reading through this thread (since it's only 4 pages long right now) and surprised that there are others with the sciatic nerve problem. I've been dealing with it for about 8 years now, but nothing as serious as Jenny Jenn or ferri. Hugs to you Jenny Jenn, hope everything works out and you DON'T have to go the back surgery route. That would be terrifying!
Thank-you Gordian Knot :) It's been fairly good for a couple of weeks, but there are days that it just flares up worse than others. I won't have back surgery. It scares me.

Hey all you sciatic nerve problem ppl...I just wanted to mention about my sister. Last year she was laid up for weeks, finally went to doc. He diagnosed her with sciatic nerve problems...gave her drugs...2 days later she was no better...She went back to a different doctor, he found out that she actually had a blood clot in her leg. The immediatley hospitalized her and got her on anti-coagulents and what not. Saved her life. My mother in law just die from a blood clot in November. I guess I have been overly cautious about it ever since. I just wanted to share that with you, and anyone who may be reading and has that same pain.
