I feel you there. I can accept that stuff like this probably happens daily in a city like Kelowna. The fact that anyone getting busted for it seems extremely rare, is tough to swallow. You've pretty much got to do this in front of a cop to get in trouble for it, and even then you've gotta hope he wasn't looking at his computer screen and missed it...
My fervent hope is that you and your tax dollars will be reunited in the afterlife.

It’s no longer unusual, certainly not the norm, but definitely getting more common. This is from Britain, about 3 years ago. Even notes some auto insurance companies were offering a cost reduction in an owner’s insurance if their vehicle was equipped with one. Can’t put a finger on it as yet, but I seem to recall this being in the news not too long ago.

Surprised there’s been no word from local RCMP on this. Castanet, where’s the follow up - have you inquired with the RCMP?

You get inside one, suddenly your dick is 5 inches longer. Rules don’t apply anymore. You’re driving a truck! Everyone else get out of your way, You’re big and important! Bike lanes? Ha, more like passing lanes for important people like yourself. Sidewalks? Move aside pedestrians, You’ve got big wheels and a big empty flatbed, You’re borrowing this path to pass this line of cars waiting. Parking lot lines are just suggestions, Take as much room as you want. Handicapped spots? You’re a truck driver! You apply! It’s christmas shopping time, but all the parking spots are taken? It’s ok, you’ve got a truck. Just park beside the last stall. Or better yet find a section with striped lines on the pavement. Those spots are reserved just for you! Best part of driving the truck, is that you lose your silly need for full colour spectrum. Red-green colourblindness is where it’s at. You’ve got 2 greenish lights. Use them how you wish. Person in front of you only going 20 over the speed limit? They probably don’t realize someone as important as yourself is behind them. You best drive as closely behind them as possible so they can see and speed up to 40 over like real men such as yourself.

I drive a pick up truck. Wow that is a harsh description of me. The only thing out of that mindless verbal diahreea I need is the double down dick dimension.

Oh no, I would never be referring to you. I’m talking about all the OTHER truck drivers. You know you’ve seen it. Don’t deny it.

It depends, if they're from McDonalds, I agree. If they're from BK, throw those fries into the deepest pits of Hades.

I don't know, DQ has let their fries go rogue. I won't even go in there anymore.

 That reminds me of when I heard a strange noise outside my house at 3AM. When I looked out, I saw my neighbour stealing my gate. It was a really nice gate.
I didn't call the police or say anything........

I didn't want him to take a fence.

He effectively forced the other guy off the road, nearly ramming him with his vehicle, intent clear..... forcing someone off the road because you're a roid monkey with anger issues is not kosher, or legal.
