Just wondering if anyone else saw a light moving in a circle shape over Kelowna last night, Nov. 24 around 8pm for about 20 minutes. I could not see any beams from the ground and it was only visible behind clouds which were somewhat sparse. Does Kelowna have a searchlight? I am sure there is a likely explanation so hope to hear from someone.

Most likely. Large "Hollywood premier" type lights are used at large events regularly here and are rented out by one of the event supply vendors.

Hotel Eldorado had a searchlight last night. Most likely that.

Probably lights from event at Hotel Eldorado event last night....makes sense. Thanks for sharing

I was at Manteo Resort Saturday Night..it definitely was the search light at the Eldorado...could see the beams rising into the sky from my vantage point.

Just read an article in today's Castanet about someone else with the same question - glad I am not alone and happy to have the answer verified.

I read circle of light in the title and I clicked on it in need of hope and redemption.
But it's just aliens again.

Your redemption probably requires much more than a light circle in the sky, Bpeep.

Perhaps an explosion at a munitions factory might do the trick.
