I didn't get anything on my IPad even though my phone and Ipad are linked. Should I have?

My iPad didn’t. My hunch is that iPads with their own SIM card to a cellular network would have, though.

Fancy, it might work to pull down on your screen from the top edge to see if it is there.

My phone was on silent too (Blackberry KeyOne), and I got the alert. Wasn't at my desk at the time, but my co-workers' phones started going off, so I quickly went to check mine. It was buzzing, but no sound because of silent mode.

EDIT: Ha, even flip phones work...
