RBC execs: "sorry ma'am, we wanted performance in the boardroom, not the bedroom".
As for him, hopefully she looks after him considering she pulled in $3 million US last year.

News Item: Utility Workers Injured
"Two Toronto utility workers injured working on hydro vault, area power knocked out"
The photo below headline is of 4 British Columbia Ambulances
Were the Toronto utility workers working in BC ? Nope "...working at a Toronto hydro vault"
Rule one - Gotta have a photo with every story
Rule two - Doesn't matter if the photo has nothing to do with the story.

This St. John's trans man thought it wasn't possible for him to get pregnant. Then it happened

No, not really.
Isn't this a nothing burger ? A biological female idenfiying as a male gets pregnant. The issue was that "he" had been taking male hormones and hadn't had a period in eight years, but did get pregnant.

Sympathy for the drowning victim.
But the title? He died after drowning? Shouldn't it be he died of drowning, or from drowning....
But not after drowning.

Another. With all the media coverage of the landslide that blocked the Chilcotin River, lots of bad reporting. Like the reporter that stated: "a section of the Chilcotin River was blocked by a landslide". No the Chilcotin River was blocked completely not a section.

Re: Headlines that make you go...Hmmmmmmmmm...
I admit I'm old and don't use a scooter or a skateboard, so maybe I'm confused by the headline coupled with the photo.
"Sooter Competition At Park
Pros, amateurs at scooter competition in Penticton"
Then a photo depicts some kids on skateboards. Aren't skateboards, skateboards, and scooters, scooters ????
https://www.castanet.net/news/Penticton ... -Penticton
Or is this just another example of the rules.
Rule 1. Every story needs a photo.
Rule 2. If you don't have an appropriate photo, refer to rule 1.

Krap! Maybe just the mood I am in now, but was hoping for a story about women’s handmade, beautifully stitched and gorgeous gloves ….and found ugly, hockey gloves instead.

Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. There’s a certain point at which ignorance becomes malice, at which there is simply no way to become THAT ignorant except deliberately and maliciously.

This headline makes it sound as if a trailer sold for 2.8 million, in actual fact it was the entire trailer park that sold for that price.
