LOLS.

Not even a snowflake this season and people are complaining.

One would think with global warming there would be less snowflakes around, I guess that isn't true.

How about saving the complaints until we experience a snowfall this season and see if there is anything to complain about?
**newsflash, even if its fantastic plowing people will complain

Are We Ready For Winter Yet:

Some are and some are not. Some think they are but are not really. City and contract highways crews, time will tell. City crews, likely much the same as previous years. The new contract highways crews, lets hope so, but time will tell.
We might not have much of a winter down here anyway. I'd like to see it stay on the mountains.

No I am not.

Just a regular citizen who understands snow removal, and the challengers associated with it.
Care to explain why you believe they have incompetent management?

Since they were awarded the contract I think people should actually wait to see the quality of their work before complaining about it.

Do you tend to send back your food at a restaurant before trying it?

If I don't see what I like when its placed in front of me Yes I do. Maybe I see the Kaos every day. Did you think of that before you made your assumption I don't know what Im talking about.

Are you asking questions? The lack of question marks makes me assume you are not.

I know I am ready for winter. Great winter tires, experienced winter driver. First Aid kit and emergency supplies always in my car.
And until you can provide proof, I will definitely assume you don't know what you are talking about. You are already complaining before a winter event even occurs.

*IF, we do have an event, and the service is bad, then you can complain. Meanwhile I will not have any effect on me. Apart from laughing at the inexperienced, under-prepared drivers trying to deal with a snowfall.

Hmm, sounds like the only problem this contractor has at the moment is with staff ...
I have no reason to have anything but confidence in the current contractor, they have done nothing to prove otherwise yet. Since they took over I've had no problem travelling the local highways.
If that changes, I'll let you know.
I also had no problems with the level of service Argo did as well. I am Canadian, and have been driving in Canadian winters for very long time.
If one does not feel safe driving due to road conditions, I'd suggest they stay home.

We have the case of the "boy who cried incompetent snow plowing".

News flash: If you raise a stink on trivial matters because you're still bitter about a Spanish company getting the contract, no one will take you seriously when you have an actual real beef.
